Hi I'm Clara and Welcome to ClaraJane's Cakes!
Remember growing up and telling everyone, “When I grow up, I want to be…”, only for adults to smile and say, “Aww, how cute.” Apparently, research shows that only about 10% of us actually grow up to fulfill those childhood dreams.
In high school, I discovered an interest in computers and technology and decided it would be a practical career path. At the same time, my passion for baking continued to grow. While working toward my degree in IT, I began working part-time in French bakeries, cafés, and later commercial bakeries.
After graduating, and with nearly 10 years of hands-on baking experience, I finally took the leap and created ClaraJane’s Cakes in 2020! Little did I know the journey I was about to begin… and what an amazing ride it has been!
I believe baking is truly a labor of love, and that care shows in every product we create. By combining high-quality ingredients with creativity and craftsmanship, I strive to make desserts that are both delicious and visually memorable.

We met the baker in Greenwich Village when she had a stand. She offered us to try her brown butter s’mores cookie and her strawberry cheesecake cookie. I wanted s’mores and wife wanted to try cheesecake. Wife ended up eating both ((. But man that brown butter is crazy good. Funny enough we were eating bakery fresh cookies right before having Clara’s cookie and Clara’s was the best! It’s good you are not in NJ because I’d be in trouble.
